We believe design expertise applied to a remodel or new construction project shortens a projects timeline, saves wasted effort, and keeps one on budget. A job well done meets the client’s style preferences, needs, budget and ideals. Our goal is to translate your vision into a design plan and fulfillment process that removes the headaches and the unknowns of doing it on your own.
Background
A native to the Pacific Northwest, Katie was exposed to the arts and interior design influences throughout her childhood. Inspired, Katie entered Washington State University and studied art history and interior design. After several trips abroad and a move to California in 2001, Katie’s focus shifted to a specific interest and appreciation of tile and stone and its significance to the design of interior and exterior spaces. As a natural progression, her clients started seeking her out for interior design services.
Experience
Professional design experience includes working with prestigious companies selling luxury products, design and project planning services for remodel and new-construction projects throughout the Bay Area with projects ranging from residential, commercial to hospitality. Katie has extensive experience working with the design trade community in San Francisco, Seattle and most recently Maui. Specialization in Tile & Stone for Kitchen and Bath Design, Katie has experience in developing and executing full remodels that include interior design, sourcing and specification of materials and project management.
Katie’s knowledge of products and project management ensures the Client has access to a wide range of materials and industry connections to bring their projects to completion. With Katie’s collaborative and consultative experience with General Contractors, Furniture Vendors, Tile Contractors, Plumbers and Architects, you can be assured you will achieve your project design goals and your vision will be realized.
